If you don’t live in Austin you probably don’t know and rightfully don’t care that our local NBC affiliate has pulled their signal off Time Warner Cable here. Whoopee.

But wait. No 30 Rock. No Heroes. No Chuck. No The Biggest Loser. (Okay, there’s a little glimpse into Dave’s psyche for you.)

I wasn’t having it. And I wasn’t switching to DISH Network or watching these shows on NBC.com. The answer, as far as I’m concerned, is simple: Apple TV.

I got it and it’s great. If the folks in the striped building on MLK and the folks at TWC kiss and make up, I’ll be back to watching on the HD DVR. But Apple TV will do me just fine until (and after) then.
